A few weeks ago I posted a short film that I made covering my time spent with the Fuji X100V out on Route 66. That video was only a small part of a larger trip where I was working on my current portfolio, shooting with both the Pentax 645N, as well as my own Fuji X100F. Over the course of nine days, I traveled from my home in Toronto, Canada, all the way to New Mexico, and back, covering just under 7000kms total.
I spent most of my time in Texas and New Mexico, with Texas probably being my favourite state so far when it comes to interesting towns and locations along the Route. I made this VLOG documenting my trip, and I also talk about my journey in photography and my transition into this current work I’m making, after going through a period of creative burnout a few years ago where I had thoughts about quitting photography.
I hope you enjoy!
